Panel A: Resources Available for the Immigrant Community
This session will identify those characteristics of and hurdles inhibiting the immigrant community in identifying and accessing resources available to assist them in transiting to life in America specifically and helping families in general. Using the specific example of Maryland public schools, presenters will share with the attendees a myriad of available resources, how they can be accessed, and the positive results that can be achieved when one avails themselves of such assistance.
